Problems：
1.After bearing caps are transported,there are residues such as paper scraps on the surface.
2.Some bearing caps shipped to the U.S. get rusty after 3-4 moths,corrosion rate is about 30%.
3.There is oil accumulation on the bottom of bearing caps.
Causes Analysis：
1.Corrugated cardboard is used as the interlayer paper, and paper dust is generated due to the shaking and friction of the parts during transportation.And anti-rust oil easily cause heavy greasy dirt, which is easy to absorb dirt.
2.The anti-rust oil currently used has poor resistance to salt spray, and corrosion occurs within 8 hours of salt spray test.
3.Corrugated cardboard has not been tested for acid content before use,which caused rust problems in the contact parts of bearing caps.
4.The large temperature difference between day and night during the shipping process leads to high humidity, and the corrugated cardboard has a certain moisture absorption function, so it accelerates the corrosion of the product and its contact parts.
Improvements：
1.Redesign the entire cleaning and anti-rust program, using oil-free anti-rust packaging.
2.Use VCI-600B antirust cleaning agent.
3.Use VCI-PP3 antirust hollow board、VCI+ bags and VCI+ antirust desiccant.
4.VCI+ technical engineers will come to complete the training and guidance, and draw up SOP.
Improve Results:
1.The surface of the product is dry, and the cleanliness is up to standards, the largest particle is less than 300um.
2.Rust prevention time ≥6 months.
