VCI masterbatch is the based raw material for the production of VCI gas phase antirust film (which can be packaged to prevent the corrosion of iron and non-ferrous metals). It is a polyethylene functional master batch formed by special concentration and processing of "PE, composite VCI vapor phase inhibitor and various auxiliary additives". Mixing the masterbatch in the ordinary PE plastic particles according to the given ratio can make the PE packaging materials volatilize the antirust gas continuously. This gas can adhere to the ferrous or nonferrous metal surface in a molecular thick film state, thus protecting the metal materials from corrosion of any kind.
It can be used for comprehensive protection of iron, carbon steel, brass, bronze, zinc and galvanized steel, nickel and nickel plating, tinplate, aluminum and aluminum alloy. Silver, lead or soldering tin shall be tested before use, and magnesium and magnesium alloy are not recommended.
